To Tinder or not to Tinder

Tinder logo on app storeIf you haven’t heard of it, Tinder is a dating application where you can connect with new and interesting people around you. Swipe right to Like and to pick a potential date or left to Pass on the people Tinder recommends.

First time I downloaded tinder, I waited 3 weeks before activating it, because you need to log in using your Facebook account, it freaked me out: I thought that it will post on my timeline, but no worries it won’t.

It is a really fun app to use; it locates users around you, if both parties like each other’s profile; you match and after that you can start chatting. The funniest thing is once you screen profiles you will see your neighbors, your exes, your relatives, your friends mostly all the people you know and in addition to tourists on their vacation in Lebanon. It is quite comforting to feel that everyone is using this dating app and not only you!

Here comes the question, will you swipe left for someone’s profile or just keep on browsing the users??
For me it was a big deal at first, it was hard to admit that I like someone and he will know that I did, but once I got used to the idea, I enjoyed it and i actually met some interesting people. I chatted with a doctor, a play director, and a pilot… not so bad.

Do you tinder? have you tindered?

Well I donno if I should recommend it or no, you will find all types of people on this app: maybe you will find your other half, maybe you will have more friends and maybe nothing interesting.
In the end, if you are looking for a relationship you should get more exposure so why not try something new

Just a little advise, if you are going to Tinder, just keep in mind to ask about the other person’s expectations; only to keep the creepy ones away 😉

Love,

É

So many people use Tinder it’s mad. There used to be a tool that told you about potential matches before you had them (but I think you had to pay for it). I wonder if in 2017 Tinder will be able to shake their ‘hookup’ status? What do you think?
